How To Use Do the skin allergy test 48 hours before each application, even if you have already used coloring products. HELPFUL HINTS Apply color to dry hair that is free of styling product build-up. Do not shampoo immediately before coloring as the scalp's natural oilshelp to protect it during coloring. BEFORE STARTING: • Have a clock ready for timing • Put on Gloves • Comb hair gently • Put towel around shoulders to protect clothing STEP 1: Get Ready to Color • Tear off and discard the tab from the Color Activating Crème (Bottle #2). Then unscrew the cap. • Open the Color-Enhancing Colorant (Bottle #1) and squeeze entire contents into Bottle #2. • Replace cap. Place gloved finger tip on cap, point away from face, and shake well until the color has fully mixed. STEP 2: Apply Color For Roots and All-Over Color • After mixing, apply color immediately to dry hair. • Apply mixture first to your roots and where you have the most gray. • When roots are completely covered, apply remaining color quickly to the rest of your hair by parting and lifting  hair as you apply. • Work mixture through until hair is completely saturated. Do not rub into scalp. STEP 3: Wait 10 Minutes • Now, start your timer for just 10 minutes (or the time indicated by your strand test). For resistant gray hair, you may  need to leave color on for an additional 5 minutes, for no longer than a total of 15 minutes. STEP 4: Rinse and Condition • Rinse until water runs clear. • Gently massage a quarter-sized amount of the Color Treat™ Conditioner (3) through your hair. • Leave on for 2 minutes, then rinse. • Save remaining Color Treat Conditioner to use once a week for fresh, radiant color and healthier-looking hair.* If any color gets on your skin or household surface, wipe it off immediately with a damp towel. Once mixed, never re-seal or store the color in a closed container, as it could burst. Pour any unused color mixture down the drain as it will lose its effectiveness after 30 minutes. STEP 5: Refresh Your Color After 2 Weeks Natural Instincts ColorFresh™ RevitalizerBoost your color in just minutes! Use it 2 weeks after you have colored your hair. Note: Before using it, conduct another skin allergy test 48 hours before application by applying a small amount of the product to an area the size of a quarter in the bend of your elbow and allowing to dry. Mix small equal parts of the Color Enhancing Colorant and Color Activating Crème in a plastic bowl. Tightly recap both bottles. Apply mixture to a test area the size of a quarter in the bend of your elbow. Allow to dry. Use remaining mixture for the strand test. Do not wash this area for 48 hours. During washing, protect with an adhesive bandage and remove it immediately after washing. Examine the test area during the next 48 hours. If no reaction occurs, you are ready to color. "People have difficulty with intimacy because they're supposed to," he says, and goes on in this inspiring book to combine elements of marriage therapy and sex therapy to bring plenty of practical, fresh ideas to the crowd of mostly vapid relationship books. (Note that despite its title, it's for any emotionally committed couple, not just married folks.) Schnarch says that a man is more likely to let a relationship suffer in order to hold on to his sense of self, while a woman is more apt to let her identity suffer to help strengthen it. Schnarch gives explicit tips on how to alter this pattern, an essential step he calls "differentiation." He also explains why compromise isn't always the best route to take when conflicts arise. The couples profiled here deal with the usual suspects: uneven sexual desire and initiation, battles about oral sex, self-image problems, the "boondoggle" of trust (both of one's self and one's partner), and the specter of divorce. From there your new scenes can be dragged directly from the Library into the Poser workspace. For Poser content developers this new feature will enable you to deliver fully constructed scenes with dependencies and optimal render settings that require less user support and are far easier to use. Multi-select Drag and Drop Library Support When we introduced Drag and Drop support in Poser's Library, our users found it so much easier to apply materials, or conform clothing, or drop a pose right onto a figure. With the Library's new Multi-select feature, you'll be able to select several items of clothing and drag them right onto a figure and auto-conform them in one step. But it gets even better when working with multiple categories of items in your Favorites; Multi-select a hairstyle, several clothing items and a pose all at once, then click and drag them right onto your target figure. Poser will automatically apply the items. It doesn't get much easier. Within the Library, you'll be able to drag and drop items from folder to folder making it easy to reorganize your Content. Morphing Tool Tablet Support If you own a Wacom pressure sensitive tablet, Poser is going to make you a very happy camper. We've engineered Wacom tablet support into the Morph Tool so you can have much finer control when creating morphs. Vary brush strength with pressure for any brush size you've set. The Morph Tool is powerful, but with tablet support, it's gotten even better. The new 'Flatten' option for Morphing Tool Create mode moves points toward a "best fit" plane determined by the affected vertices. Constraint Channels and Constraint Objects For our animators that have been looking for a way to animate a ball being throw or caught, we've introduced Constraint Channels and Objects. Basically, the Constraint Object is an animatable handle for an object that will allow you to parent it to a figure's hand as it winds up for the throw, and then have the object leave the hand and fly through the air as if it's being thrown. Constraints are a simple to use feature that will permit all kinds of cool animation effects. Light Emitting Objects We changed the face of rendering in Poser when we introduced Indirect Lighting (IDL). Poser users quickly discovered that, with high ambient values to cast light that with a few tweaks, they could open up a huge array of lighting effects. Now you can create Light Emitters; toggle off visibility in rendering for objects, yet still enable them to cast light. Build light domes, environment domes and large area lights to cast ambient light without being rendered in the scene. Combined with our new Poser Scene Library category, this feature will be a great way to deliver a fully lit IDL environment. Frame Selected Object In complex scenes it can be a little challenging to keep your camera focused on an area that you're working on using Poser's original camera controls. To help out, we've introduced the Frame Selected Object Camera. With the click of a button, your current camera will zoom in on the selected object, allowing you take a closer look at exactly where you're working on. This makes it easier to navigate in and out of your deep scenes and saves you time when creating them. Orbit Selected Object Mode Poser also includes a new mode as a companion feature to the new Frame Selected Object Camera. Simply toggle on the Orbit Selected mode and your current camera will rotate around the center point of the currently selected object. This makes it easier to focus on a selected element, and view it from every direction by spinning Camera trackball controls. Faster Dynamic Hair Our engineers spent time under the hood to speed up Dynamic Hair. Now Poser's powerful Dynamic Hair calculates collisions faster and renders it faster as well. Pre-render Texture Caching We've heard your requests for faster pre-render texture handling and delivered two new methods that will save time the minute you press that Render Now button. The furnishings are mostly grouped by theme, with the medieval dungeon option the most authoritative of the bunch. (Little Cassandra Goth has been longing to read by torch light all along.) Our personal favorite is the futuristic theme, with an optional, but expensive, maid/gardener robot to take care of the fabulous modern furnishings. Clearly the Sims team has been doing its research over at Herman Miller, and you'll have a bright red, flowing-foam sofa to show for it. But it wouldn't be The Sims if only good taste prevailed. Bring on the mai tais with a tiki-heavy islander theme. There's also a startling collection of carpeting and objects best grouped under the design ideal we call "demented clown." The attention-getting rarities include: a lame fortune-telling ball (our advice mostly centered around hiring a maid), a voodoo doll for hexing roommates, and a genie who delivers as much bad as good (dead plants, anyone?). And, yes, there's a vibrating bed to give your Sims the spice they've been missing. While the expansion didn't blow us away, it did provide more of the humor and novelty true Sims die-hards will appreciate.
